Mr. Carlos Torres Vila has been the Chairman of the group since December 2018. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of the group from 2015 to 2018. Mr. Vila served as a member of the Management Committee and Head of Digital Banking at BBVA from 2014 to 2015. Previously, he served as the Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at BBVA from 2008 to 2014. Mr. Vila also served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Isofoton in 2008. Earlier, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Endesa in 2007. Mr. Vila served as a Partner of McKinsey & Company from 1990 to 2002.

Mr. Onur Genc has been the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of the group since December 2018. Currently, he serves as a Director at BBVA Mexico, S.A., Grupo Financiero BBVA Mexico, and Grupo Financiero BBVA Mexico, S.A. de C.V. Prior to this, he served as the Country Manager of the US and President and Chief Executive Officer at BBVA USA from 2017 to 2018. Previously, he served as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer from 2015 to 2017, Executive Vice President of Retail, Private Banking and Payment Systems from 2012 to 2105 at Garanti BBVA.

Mr. Jose Miguel Andres Torrecillas has been the Deputy Chairman of the group since April 2019. Previously, he served as the Chairman of Ernst & Young in Spain from 2004 to 2014. He served as the Managing Director at Ernst & Young Italy and Portugal from 2008 to 2013. Earlier, he held various positions at Ernst & Young including Managing Partner of the Banking Group and General Managing Partner.

Mr. Carlos Vicente Salazar Lomelin has been a Director of the group since March 2020. Currently, he serves as a Director at Sukarne, S.A. de C.V. since 2017, Alsea, S.A.B. de C.V. since 2019 and CYDSA Corporativo, S.A. de C.V since 2022. Previously, he worked with Fomento Economico Mexicano S.A.B. de C.V. Group from 1973 to 2019.
