Mr. Carlos Torres Vila has been the Chairman of the group since 2018. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of the group from 2015 to 2018. Mr. Vila served as a Member of the Executive Committee and Head of Digital Banking at BBVA from 2014 to 2015. Previously, he served as the Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at BBVA from 2008 to 2014. Mr. Vila also served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Isofoton in 2008. Earlier, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Endesa in 2007. Mr. Vila served as a Partner of McKinsey & Company from 1990 to 2002.

Mr. Onur Genc has been the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of the group since 2018. Currently, he serves as a Director at BBVA México, S.A., Grupo Financiero BBVA Mexico, and Grupo Financiero BBVA México, S.A. de C.V. Prior to this, he served as the Country Manager of the US from 2017 to 2018. Previously, from 2012 to 2017, Mr. Genc served as the Executive Vice President of Garanti, and from 1999 to 2012, he served as a Director and Country Manager of McKinsey & Company (Istanbul). Earlier, Mr. Genc served as a Financial Analyst at American Airlines between 1997 and 1998.

Mr. Jose Miguel Andres Torrecillas has been the Deputy Chairman of the group since 2019. Prior to this, he served as a Director of the group. Previously, he served as the Chairman of Ernst & Young in Spain from 2004 to 2014. He served as the Managing Director at Ernst & Young Italy and Portugal from 2008 to 2013. Earlier, he held various positions at Ernst & Young including Managing Partner of the Banking Group and General Managing Partner.

Ms. Luisa Gomez Bravo has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since August 2023. Prior to this, she served as Head of Corporate and Investment Banking from 2018 to 2023 and Global head of Investment and Cost management from 2017-2018 and various other leadership roles at BBVA.

Mr. Joaquin Gortari has been the Chief Audit Executive of the group since 2018. Prior to this, he served as the Chief of staff to the Chairman of the group from 2010 to 2018. Previously, he held various positions in the group including Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Earlier, he worked with BEX Internacional and Banco Exterior Espana.
