Mr. Nestor V. Tan is the Chief Executive Officer, and President of the bank and as Director since 1998. He also serves as a Vice Chairman or Director at the bank’s subsidiaries such as BDO Life Assurance Company, Inc., BDO Private Bank, Inc., BDO Finance Corporation, BDO Capital & Investment Corporation, and SM Keppel Land, Inc. He works with BDO Network Bank, Inc and BDO Strategic Holdings, Inc. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Financial Institutions Services Group at BZW. Previously, he served at various positions in Mellon Bank, Bankers Trust Company, and the Barclays Group.

Mr. Rene Morta has been the Chief Information Officer and Head of Information Technology Group of the company since January 2026. Previously, he was the Managing Director for Growth Markets and Chief Information Officer at Accenture Technology Center Philippines. Prior to this, he worked at Citibank N.A., Thomson Reuters, Dell Technologies, Open Text, and Ericsson Telecommunications.

Ms. Evelyn L. Villanueva has been the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Risk Management of the bank. Prior to this, she served as Senior Vice President of the Credit Risk Management at HSBC. Previously, she worked with Citytrust Banking Corp and served as Management Trainee.

Mr. Federico P. Tancongco has been the Chief Compliance Officer of the bank since July 2017. He also serves as the Senior Vice President, and Head of Compliance of the bank. Previously, he worked with Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation as Trust Legal Counsel.

Ms. Teresita T. Sy is the Chairwoman of the bank. Ms. Sy also serves as the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson and Director in various subsidiaries of the bank such as BDO Finance Corporation, BDO Private Bank, Inc, BDO Foundation, Inc., BDO Life Assurance Company, Inc, and BDO Capital & Investment Corp. She also serves as an Board Advisor at One Network Bank, Inc. Previously, she served as Vice Chairwoman of SM Investments Corp.
