Ms. Caroline Dorsa has been the Chairman of the company since June 2023. Prior to this, she served as a Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Public Service Enterprise Group, Inc. Previously she served as the Senior Vice President, Global Human Health, Strategy and Integration, and Vice President and Treasurer at at Merck & Co.

Mr. Christopher A. Viehbacher has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director and President of the company since November 2022. Prior to this role, he served as the Managing Partner of Gurnet Point Capital and Chief Executive Officer at Sanofi. Previously, he also served in various roles at GlaxoSmithKline and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

Mr. Michael R. McDonnell serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2020. Prior to this, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at IQVIA since December 2015. He has also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Intelsat, MCG Capital Corporation, and EchoStar Communications (DishNetwork). He also served as a member of the board of directors of Catalyst Health Solutions Inc from 2005 until 2012.

Ms. Robin C. Kramer has been the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of the company since 2020. Previously, she served as the Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of the company. Prior to this, she was the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. Ms. Kramer also served as an Audit Partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP; Chief Accounting Officer of Fisher Scientific International, Inc; Director, External Reporting, Accounting and Control for the Gillette Company.

Ms. Susan H. Alexander has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer since April 2018. Prior to this, she served as the Executive Vice President, Chief Legal and Corporate Services from March 2017 to March 2018. She also served as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary from December 2011 to March 2017 and as our Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from 2006 to December 2011. Prior to joining Biogen, Ms. Alexander served as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of PAREXEL International Corporation from 2003 to January 2006. Ms. Alexander also served as General Counsel of IONA Technologies, from 1995 to 2001. Prior to this, she also served as Counsel at Cabot Corporation. Ms. Alexander was a partner at the law firms of Hinckley, Allen & Snyder and Fine & Ambrogne.
