Dr. Michael Ramroth has been the Chief Executive Officer of the company since May 2019. Prior to joining Biotest, he served as the Chairman for Business Development at Metallgesellschaft Technologies AG in 2003; Chief Executive Officer of CeramTec AG; and Director of Business Development at Metallgesellschaft AG.

Ms. Ainhoa Mendizabal has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since February 2023. Prior to this, she served as the Chief Financial Officer Services and Enterprise Applications in an international consulting firm. Preciously, she held various executive and managerial roles in the Grifols Group in Germany and in Europe.

Mr. Peter Janssen has been the Chief Operations Officer of the company since 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Executive Vice President of Prothya Netherlands and Chief Executive Officer of Prothya Belgium. Previously, he was also associated with Pfizer.

Mr. Jorg Schuttrumpf has been the Chief Scientific Officer of the company since 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Head of Research and Development division and Head of Global Research. Previously, he has also been associated with German red cross blood donor service, the Goethe university Frankfurt, the University hospital of Essen, the Children’s hospital of Philadelphia, and the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Bernhard Ehmer has been the Chairman of the company since 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of the company from 2014 till 2019; President- Imclone systems corporation, Managing Directorand Senior Vice President- Imclone systems international GmbH from 2008 till 2012; Chief Executive Officer- Fresenius Biotech from 2007 till 2008 and Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director- Biopheresis GmbH & Inc. from 2006 till 2007. Previously, he has also been associated with Merck Group and Boehringer Mannheim.
