Mr. Laurence D. Fink is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company. He is also an Executive Committee member of the Partnership for New York City. Prior to this, he was a Managing Director of the First Boston Corporation. Mr. Fink was Co-Head of the Taxable Fixed Income Division.

Mr. Robert S. Kapito has been the President of the company since 2007. He also serves as a Director since 2006. Prior to 2007, he served as the Head of its Portfolio Management Group. He is also the President of the Board of Directors for the Hope & Heroes Children's Cancer Fund. Prior to founding BlackRock in 1988, he was a Vice President in the Mortgage Products Group at The First Boston Corporation.

Mr. Martin Small has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since February 2023. He also serves as a Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Corporate Strategy of the company. Prior to this, he served as the Head of U.S. Wealth Advisory and Head of U.S. and Canada iShares. He joined the company in 2006.

Mr. Christopher J. Meade has been the Chief Legal Officer of the company since 2016. He also serves as the General Counsel of the company since 2015. Prior to this, he served as the General Counsel of the U.S. Department of the Treasury and was a Partner of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr. Previously, he also served as a law clerk to Justice John Paul Stevens on the U.S. Supreme Court and Judge Harry T. Edwards of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

Mr. Edward J. Fishwick has been the Chief Risk Officer and Head of the Risk and Quantitative Analysis of the company since February 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Global Co-Head of Risk and Quantitative Analysis Team at the company. Previously, he served as the Head of Risk and Quantitative Analysis of EMEA at Merrill Lynch Investment Management. He also serves as the Chairman of BlackRock’s Enterprise Risk Management Committee.
