Mr. Jose Ignacio Goirigolzarri has been the Chairman of the bank since 2021. Previously, he served as the Chairman at Bankia; Chairman of Bankia Technology and Innovation Committee; Chairman at BFA, Tenedora de Acciones, S.A.U. He also served for Retail Banking at BBVA and Chief Executive officer until 2009; Director of BBVA-Bancomer (Mexico), Citic Bank (China) and CIFH (Hong Kong); Deputy Chairman at Telefonica and Repsol.

Mr. Gonzalo Gortazar has been the Chief Executive Officer since June 2014. He also serves as the Chairman of VidaCaixa and board member of Banco BPI. Before his appointment as the Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Mr. Gortazar served as the Chief Financial Officer of the bank and as the Chief Executive Officer at Criteria CaixaCorp between 2009 and June 2011.

Mr. Javier Pano has been the Chief Financial Officer of the bank since July 2013. He also serves as the Chairman of ALCO; and Director at Portuguese Banco BPI SA and Cecabank SA. Previously, Mr. Pano served as the Head of Treasury and Capital Markets at the bank from 2004 to 2014. Earlier, he held several positions at several companies such as Croissant Express, la Caixa, and Gesindex, SGIIC.

Mr. Luis Javier Blas has been the Chief Operating Officer of the bank since September 2019. Previously, he served at BBVA Group for 20 years; Head of Engineering & Data and served on the Management Committee at BBVA Espana. He also worked at BBVA Chile.

Mr. Eugenio Solla has been the Chief Sustainability Officer of the bank since 2021. Previously, he served as the Regional Corporate Director of Northern Madrid in July 2015; Corporate Director of Marketing of the company from 2013 and 2015 at Bankia. He also served as Organisational Manager at Caja de Ahorros de Avila.
