The company incurred a capital expenditure of CAD143 million in FY2022. The company has mining operations in Canada, the US, Germany, Kazakhstan, and Australia.

Overview
Carries out the refining, conversion and fabrication of uranium concentrate and sale of conversion services. Offers uranium processing services to produce fuel for generating clean electricity. Operates a Blind River refinery and Port Hope conversion facilities in Ontario, Canada which refines uranium concentrates to Uranium trioxide (UO3). Also manufactures and sells fuel bundles for CANDU reactors, and produces reactor components through Cameco Fuel Manufacturing Inc (CFM). In FY2022, incurred a capital expenditure of CAD39.7 million which grew 74.3% YoY.

Overview
Carries out the exploration for mining, milling, purchase, and sale of uranium concentrate. Uranium properties are spread across Canada, the US, Australia, and Kazakhstan. Operating properties include McArthur River and Key Lake, Cigar Lake, and Inkai. McArthur River and Key Lake property is the world's largest high-grade uranium operation located in northern Saskatchewan, Canada. Cigar Lake mine is in northern Saskatchewan, Canada. Inkai property is in Sozaq District, Kazakhstan, in which the company owns 40% in the property with the remaining 60% is owned by the Kazakh government through Kazatomprom. Also owns development projects, namely, The Cree Extension -Millennium project, Yeelirrie, and Kintyre. The Cree Extension-Millennium project is in the southeastern portion of the Athabasca Basin, approximately 35 km north of the Key Lake operation. Yeelirrie is one of Australia's largest undeveloped uranium deposits located approximately 650 km northeast of Perth and approximately 750 km south of the company’s Kintyre project. Kintyre project is located at the western edge of the Great Sandy Desert in the East Pilbara region of Australia. Also owns temporarily shut down and curtailed mining operations such as Rabbit Lake, Crow Butte and Smith Ranch-Highland, and an exploration project namely brownfield exploration. In FY2022, incurred a capital expenditure of CAD101.5 million, which grew 39.5% YoY.
