Mr. David J Kassie has been the Executive Chairman of the company since 2015. He has been a Director at the company since 2010 and also served as the Chief Executive Officer at the company. Previously, Mr. Kassie served as the Principal, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Genuity Capital Markets from 2004 to 2010. Prior to that, he served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at CIBC World Markets and the Vice Chairman at CIBC. Mr. Kassie has experience as an Advisor, Underwriter and Principal. Mr. Daniel Daviau has been the Chief Executive Officer, Director, and President of the company since 2015. Prior to the Canaccord/Genuity merger that was announced in 2010, he served as a Principal and Founder at Genuity Capital Markets, where he held a variety of senior roles since 2005. Prior to 2005, Mr. Daviau was the Co-Head of Investment Banking at CIBC World Markets, a firm he joined in 1991. While at CIBC World Markets, he also served as the Head of the Media and Telecommunications Group since 2000 and Head of the Technology Investment Banking Group in Canada since 1997.

Mr. Don MacFayden has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2017. He is also serving as the Executive Vice President of the company. Mr. MacFayden served as the Chief Financial Officer of the firm’s U.S. operations from 2007 to 2012.

Ms. Fera Jeraj has been the Chief Technology Officer of the company since 2022. She served as Chief Information Officer of Global Markets Technology at BMO since 2020.

Mr. Andrew F. Viles has been serving as the Chief Legal Officer of the company since 2019. He is responsible for ensuring unified oversight and coordination of legal, regulatory and compliance functions. Previously, he also served as the Head of North American Capital Markets Compliance since 2017. Mr. Viles was a Partner in the national law firm of Goodwin Procter LLP in 2003.
