Mr. Fujio Mitarai has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2006. Prior to this, he held several senior management positions including the Managing Director, Senior Managing Director, Executive Vice President, President, and Director at the company. Mr. Mitarai also served as the President of Canon U.S.A., Inc from 1979 to 1981. Mr. Mitarai joined the company in 1961.

Mr. Toshizo Tanaka has been the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Executive of Public Affairs Headquarters and Group Executive of Sustainability Headquarters and Senior General Manager of Corporate Governance Center of the company since 2023. Prior to this, he held various senior management positions in the company including the Group Executive of Finance and Accounting, Group Executive of Human Resources Management and Organization Headquarters, Director, Managing Director and Senior Managing Director. Mr. Tanaka joined the company in 1964.

Mr. Toshio Homma has been the Chief Technology Officer, Head of Printing Group and Executive Vice President of the company since 2021. He also serves as Chief Executive of Digital Printing Business Operations of the company. Prior to this, he served in several managerial roles at the company, including as Executive Vice President in charge of Office Business, Chief Executive of Office Imaging Products Operations, Senior Managing Director, and Group Executive of Procurement Headquarter. Previously, he worked as the Chief Executive of L Printer Products Operations, Senior General Manager of Copying Machine Development Center, Director and Managing Director of the company. Mr. Homma joined the company in 1972.
