Capstone Green Energy Holdings Inc (Capstone), formerly known as Capstone Turbine International Inc, is a turbine manufacturing company. It develops, manufactures, markets and services low emission microturbine technology solutions and power generation systems. The microturbines offered by the company allow customers to produce power in parallel to on site electric grids and can be used stand alone when no grid is available. Capstone’s microturbine systems can be fueled by various sources like sour gas, butane, natural gas, propane and renewable fuels such as digester gas, kerosene, diesel and biodiesel. The company designs microturbines for commercial, industrial, utility customers, onshore and offshore oil and gas applications. Capstone sells its products through a network of distributors and original equipment manufacturers in Middle East, North America, Latin America, Europe, and Africa and Asia-Pacific. Capstone is headquartered in Van Nuys, California, the US.
