Mr. Wang Laing has been the President, Director, and Chief Executive Officer of the bank since 2022. He also serves as the Chairman of CMB International Capital Corporation Ltd., CMB Wing Lung Bank, and Merchants Union Consumer Finance Co., Ltd., and Director of China Merchants Financial Holdings Co., Ltd. Previously, he served as the President , Executive Assistant President, Executive Vice President and First Executive Vice President at the bank.

Mr. Zhu Jiangtao has been a Director since 2023, Executive Vice President since 2021, and is its Chief Risk Officer of the bank since 2020. Previously, he served as an Assistant General Manager and Deputy General Manager of Guangzhou Branch of the bank, the General Manager of Chongqing Branch, the General Manager of the Credit Risk Management Department and the General Manager of the Risk Management Department of the bank from December 2007 to July 2020.

Mr. Peng Jiawen has been the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Secretary of the bank since 2023. He also serves as General Manager of Assets and Liabilities Management Department, General Manager of Retail Credit Department, and Branch General Manager of Zhengzhou at the Head Office. Prior to this, he served as a Assistant General Manager and Deputy General Manager of the Planning and Finance Department at the Head Office, the Deputy General Manager and General Manager of the Overall Retail Management Department of the Head Office, the Deputy General Manager and Vice President of the General Office of Retail Finance of the Head Office, Vice President of the General Office of Retail Finance of the Office and General Manager of the Retail Credit Business Department of the Head Office, President of Zhengzhou Branch and General Manager of the Assets and Liabilities Management Department of the Head Office.

Mr. Jiang Chaoyang has been the Chief Information Officer of the bank since November 2019. Previously he served as the General Manager of Strategic Customers Department, General Manager of Retail Network Banking Department, Deputy General Manager and General Manager of Wealth Management Department at the Head Office. He joined the bank in 2013.

Mr. Miao Jianmin has been the Chairman of the bank since 2020. He serves as the Chairman of China Merchants Group Ltd. Previously, he was the Vice Chairman and President of China Life Insurance (Group) Company. He was also the Vice Chairman, President and Chairman of The People’s Insurance Company (Group) of China Limited. He also served as the Chairman of PICC Property and Casualty Company Limited.
