China Petroleum & Chemical Corp (Sinopec), a subsidiary of China Petrochemical Corp, is an integrated energy and chemical company with operations spanning upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. The company's primary activities include the exploration, production, and sale of petroleum and natural gas, as well as the production, sale, storage, and transportation of refinery products, petrochemical products, coal chemical products, synthetic fiber, and other chemical products.
