Comet Holding AG: Executives

Mr. Heinz Kundert has been the Chairman of the company since April 2019. From 2019 to 2020, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Comet Group, Flamatt. Previously, Mr. Kundert served as the Chief Executive Officer of VAT Group from 2015 to 2022. Prior to this, he served as the VP of SEMI Intl. USA and President of SEMI Europe from 2005 to 2015. From 1999 to 2002, Mr. Kundert served as the Chief Operating Officer of OerlikonBührle, Zurich-Oerlikon; and from 2002 to 2004, as the Chief Executive Officer of Unaxis AG, Pfaffikon. He also served as the Division Manager of Semiconductor and Data Storage at Balzers AG and as the Regional Director of Asia at Balzers AG, Balzers.

Mr. Stephan Haferl has been the Chief Executive Officer of the company since September 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Vice President of Supply Chain, Vice President of R&D, and General Manager of Industrial X-Ray Technologies. Mr. Haferl served as the President of X-Ray Modules division at X-Ray Technologies, Flamatt. He also served at the Bartec Group, Sainte-Croix.

Mr. Robert Leindl has been the Chief Information Officer of the company since August 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President at Infineon Technologies AG.

Mr. Andre Grede has been the Chief Technology Officer of the company since March 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Vice President of Global R&D at Comet Plasma Control Technologies, Flamatt from 2015 to 2023. From 2011 to 2015, Mr. Grede served as the Head of RF new development at Trumpf Huttinger.

Mr. Nicola Rotondo has been the Interim Chief Financial Officer of the company since September 2023. Currently, he serves as the Vice President of Group Controlling and Accounting at Comet, Flamatt. From 2010 to 2021, Mr. Rotondo served as the Vice President of Group Controlling at Comet. Prior to this, he served at Berna Biotech and Ascom, Bern.
