Compania De Minas Buenaventura SAA (Buenaventura) is a precious metals mining company. It carries out the mining, processing, development, and exploration of gold, silver, coal, lead, molybdenum, zinc, and copper through its wholly-owned mines and joint exploration projects. It owns and operates mines in Peru including Orcopampa, Uchucchacua, Julcani, La Zanja and Tambomayo. The company also holds controlling interests in two mining companies which hold interest in Sociedad Minera El Brocal and Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde. Its services include engineering consultancy, electricity generation and transmission, tailings dam management, and rental of mining concession. The company also owns an electric power transmission and engineering consulting services company. Buenaventura is headquartered in San Isidro, Lima, Peru.
