Mr. Toshihiro Matsui is the Deputy President, Chief Operating Officer, and Director of the company. Prior to this, he served in various managerial roles within the company including Head of Legal, Deputy Head of Planning, Head of Planning and Personnel, and Deputy Head of Wholesale. He joined the company as Corporate Executive Officer in 2009. Earlier, he served as the Managing Director of Corporate Institutions and Corporate Finance of Daiwa Securities SMBC Co. Ltd.

Ms. Keiko Tashiro is the Executive Vice President, Head of Overseas, SDGs and Think Tank, and a Director of the company. Prior to this, she served in various senior leadership roles including Head of Daiwa Direct Business, Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities, Head of the Americas business, Deputy Head of Overseas, and Chairperson of Daiwa Capital Markets America Holdings Inc. Previously, she served as the Managing Director of the IR Office and Managing Director of the Daiwa Direct Planning Department of the company. She joined the company as Senior Managing Director in 2009.
