Electricity Generating Public Co Ltd (EGCO) is an energy utility. The company sells electricity to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand and industrial users through power purchase agreements. It also provides engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, and operational services to power plants, oil refineries, petrochemical plants, and other industries. EGCO generates electricity from natural gas, coal, biomass, waste, hydro, solar, wind, and geothermal sources. Through its interests in independent power producer (IPP), small power producer (SPP), very small power producer (VSPP), and other power producer companies, the company operates power plants in Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Lao PDR, South Korea, Taiwan and Australia. EGCO also has an interest in various projects in under construction phases. EGCO is headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand.
