Energir LP (Energir), formerly Gaz Metro Limited Partnership, is a distributor of natural gas. The company also conducts distribution, transmission, and storage of natural gas and energy generation. It also undertakes sales, rental, financing, and maintenance services for natural gas equipment. With interest in Seigneurie de Beaupre, the company is also active in the wind power project. Energir operates through five reportable business segments: Energy Distribution; Transportation of Natural Gas; Electricity Production; Energy Services, Storage and Other; and Corporate Affairs. It also includes Corporate Affairs segment which include elimination of intersegment revenues.
