Mr. Thomas Heneghan has been the Chairman of the company since 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Vice Chairman from 2018 to 2023. He also served as the Co-Vice Chairman of the company from 2013 to 2018. Mr. Heneghan served as the Chief Executive Officer of the company from 2004 to 2013 and President of the company from 2011 to 2012. Earlier, he held various positions at the company, including President from 2004 to 2008, the President and Chief Operating Officer from 2000 to 2003, Executive Vice President, the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer from 1997 to 2000, and the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer from 1995 to 1997. Mr. Heneghan also served as a Director of Farmland Partners Inc.

Ms. Marguerite Nader has been the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Vice Chairman of the company since 2025. Prior to this, she served as the President and Chief Financial Officer of the company in 2012 and an Executive Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer of the company from 2011 to 2012. Ms. Nader worked as an Executive Vice President of New Business Development at the company in 2011. Earlier, she served as an Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing of the company from 2009 to 2011. She held several positions at the company, including the Senior Vice President of New Business Development from 2007 to 2009; the Vice President of New Business Development from 2001 to 2007; and the Vice President of Asset Management from 1998 to 2001. She also serves as a Director of Ventas Inc.

Mr. Paul Seavey has been the Chief Financial Officer and an Executive Vice President of the company since 2020. Previously, he served as an Executive Vice President, the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the company from 2014 to 2020. Mr. Seavey served as a Senior Vice President, the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the company during 2012 to 2014. He also worked as the Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at the company in 2012; and Senior Vice President and Treasurer from 2011 to 2012. Earlier, he served as the Vice President of Financial Planning and Treasurer at the company from 2009 to 2011; and the Vice President of Financial Planning from 2001 to 2009.

Mr. Patrick Waite has been an President, and the Chief Operating Officer of the company since 2025. Prior to this, he served as an Executive Vice President of the company. He also served as the Executive Vice President of Property Operations at the company from 2014 to 2015; and the Senior Vice President of Operations from 2013 to 2014. Mr. Waite worked at American Residential Communities as the Senior Vice President of Asset Management from 2010 to 2013. Earlier, he worked as the Vice President of Riverside Communities from 2004 to 2010; and Director of Acquisitions at the company from 1993 to 1997.

Mr. David Eldersveld has been the Chief Legal Officer, Secretary, and an Executive Vice President of the company since 2021. Prior to this, he served as an Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of the company from 2015 to 2021. Previously, he served as an Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Tribune Co from 2011 to 2013 and as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Tribune Co from 2010 to 2011. Earlier, Mr. Eldersveld worked at Sidley Austin LLP from 1999 to 2005.
