Mr. Markus Rieb has been the Chief Executive Officer of the group since September 2015. Prior to this, served as the Chairman of Allianz Deutschland AG from 2010 to 2015. He was also the Board member of Allianz Deutschland AG, and the Chairman of Allianz Beratungs- und Vertriebs-AG. Previously, Mr. Rieb was a Board member of Allianz Global Investors AG, and the Managing Director of Allfonds International Asset Management GmbH.

Mr. Heiko Stuber has been the Chief Financial Officer of the group since 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Head of Group Accounting and Controlling of the group from 2011 to 2018. Previously, he worked as the Head of Accounting, Reporting and Budgeting AXA Life and AXA Non-Life at AXA Versicherungen AG, Winterthur. Earlier, he served in companies like AXA Group, KPMG AG, and KPMG LLP, New York in many leadership roles.

Mr. Robin Johnson has been the Chief Technology Officer of the group since March 2023. He also serves as the Chief Operating Officer of ERGO Technology & Services Management AG since August 2023 and Chief Information Officer of Munich Re since April 2017. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Information Officer at Maersk Group Infrastructure Services, Global Chief Information Officer at DELL Inc and also served in many leadership roles in various companies.

Mr. Edward Ler has been the Chief Underwriting Officer of the group since October 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Executive Vice President and Head of the Southeast Asia Region at Chubb Group, President at Chubb Korea, Chairman of the Board at Chubb Indonesia, and Senior Vice President and Regional Head of Private Banking in the Asia-Pacific Region at Chubb Group. Previously, he served as the Commercial Lines Director for Asia and the Middle East and Director of Underwriting, Claims and Risk in Asia at RSA Group.

Mr. Mark Klein has been the Chief Digital Officer of the group since January 2024. Prior to this, he served as the Chairman of ERGO Digital Ventures AG in 2016. Previously, he served as the Chairman at T-Mobile Netherlands BV, Senior Vice President Commercial Excellence Europe at Deutsche Telekom AG, Head of Department Small Medium Enterprise (SME) and Small Office Home Office (SoHo) at Vodafone D2-GmbH, and Chief Business Officer at Arcor AG & Co. KG.
