Mr. Femi Otedola has been the Chairman of the bank since 2024.

Mr. Oyewale Ariyibi has been the Director and Director- Investment Management and Oversight of the bank since August 2022. Earlier, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of FBN Holdings. Prior to this, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc and as Country Financial Controller at Standard Chartered Bank, Nigeria. Mr. Oyewale Ariyibi has over 23 years of experience within the banking sector and allied financial services, business assurance, tax management, business process review and consulting across several institutions.

Mr. Nnamdi Okonkwo has been the Managing Director of the company since March 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Managing Director and the Executive Director for Southern Nigeria of Fidelity Bank Plc. Previously, he also worked as the Regional Chief Executive Officer at UBA and Managing Director of UBA Ghana and also as the Director at UBA Liberia and Director at Ghana National Banking College. He also worked in banks like Broad Bank of Nigeria Ltd; Citizens International Bank, Nigeria; FSB International Bank Plc, Nigeria; GTBank, Nigeria; and Merchant Bank of Africa.

Ms. Oyinade Kuku is the Head of the Human Resources division of the company. Previously, she served at First Bank Nigeria Ltd as a Senior Business Partner and Lead for the Group HR Support Function, handling the HR matters for the company’s non-banking subsidiaries, sub-Saharan African businesses and FBN (Bank) U.K. Prior to joinging the company in 2009, Ms. Kuku worked with UBA Plc, Workforce Group Consulting and Mobil Producing, Nigeria (ExxonMobil), where she held various roles within the HR function. She has over 16 years of experience in Strategic Human Resource Management.

Mr. Idris Shittu has been the Head of Risk Management & Compliance of the company since 2017. Prior to this, he served as the Head, of Market Liquidity Risk and Basel II/III Capital Management in Keystone Bank Limited. He has also worked in United Bank for Africa and Dominion Trust Limited.
