Mr. Ming Hsieh has been the Chairman, the Chief Executive Officer and the President of the company since 2016. Prior to this, he served as the Chairman, the Chief Executive Officer and the President of Cogent, Inc. He co-founded Cogent Inc in 1990. Prior to this, Mr. Hsieh founded AMAX Technology and served as its Vice President from 1987 to 1990. He currently serves as a Director at Fortinet, Inc.

Mr. Paul Kim has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2016. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Financial Officer at Cogent Inc from January 2004 to 2011 and also served as the Chief Financial Officer since December 2003, and as Corporate Controller and the Vice President, Finance at JNI Corporation from October 1999 to August 2002. Mr. Kim served as the Vice President of Finance and Administration at Datafusion Inc from January 1998 until October 1999. He served as the Corporate Controller from April 1996 to January 1998 at Interlink Computer Sciences, Inc. Prior to this, he worked for Coopers and Lybrand L.L.P from January 1990 to April 1996.

Mr. James Xie served has been the President and Chief Operating Officer of the company since 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President of Bioinformatics. Previously, he also served as the Senior Vice President of Cogent Inc.

Dr. Lawrence Weiss has been the Chief Medical Officer of the company since 2021. Prior to this, he served as Chief Medical Officer at NeoGenomics.

Dr. Han Lin (Harry) Gao has been the Lab Director and the Chief Scientific Officer of the company since September 2016. He is the founder of the company’s genetic testing business. Previously, Dr. Hanlin served as the Fulgent LLC’s Laboratory Director and the Chief Scientific Officer since February 2012 and January 2016 respectively. From 2004 to 2013, he served as the Laboratory Director of both the Clinical Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory and DNA Sequencing Core Laboratory at City of Hope.
