Ms. Katherine M. Sandstrom has been the Chairman of the company since 2023. Prior to this, she served as the Senior Managing Director and Global Head at Heitman LLC's Public Real Estate Securities business from 2013 to 2018. Ms. Sandstrom held several senior leadership positions in multiple roles in the institutional real estate investment industry. Previously, she served as Board of Director of the company since 2018 and as Vice Chair since 2022. She also serves as the member of the boards of directors at EastGroup Properties, Inc. and Urban Edge Properties.

Mr. John T. Thomas has been the Vice Chairman of the company since 2024. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer and Trustee of Physicians Realty Trust from 2013 until its merger with Healthpeak in 2024. Prior to this, he was the Executive Vice President of Medical Facilities Group for Welltower Inc. from 2009 to 2012. Mr. Thomas served as the President, Chief Development Officer and Business Counsel of Cirrus Health from 2005 to 2008. He was the Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Baylor Health Care System from 2000 to 2005. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Thomas served as the General Counsel and Secretary of the St. Louis division of the Sisters of Mercy Health System.

Mr. Scott M. Brinker has been the President, Chief Executive Officer, and a Director of the company since 2022. Previously, he served as the Chief Investment Officer from 2020 to 2022, an Executive Vice President from 2018 until 2019 of the company. Prior to this, Mr. Brinker served as an Executive Vice President and the Chief Investment Officer at Welltower Inc from 2001 to 2017.

Mr. Kelvin Moses has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since April 2025. Prior to this, he served as the Executive Vice President of Investments and Portfolio Management of the company.

Mr. Shawn Johnston has been the Chief Accounting Officer and an Executive Vice President of the company since 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of the company from 2017 to 2019. Previously, he served as the Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President at UDR Inc from 2016 to 2017; and Vice President and Controller of UDR Inc from 2013 to 2016. He served as Interim Principal Financial Officer of UDR in 2016. Earlier, he served as the Chief Accounting Officer at American Residential Communities LLC. He served at Ernst & Young LLP Audit Department from 2002 to 2010.
