Mr. Carsten Knobel has been the Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2020. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of Finance, Purchasing and Integrated Business Solutions in 2013. Previously, he served as the Executive Vice President of Finance and Purchasing from July 2012 to March 2013, the Corporate Senior Vice President of Finance in 2012, the Corporate Senior Vice President, Financial Director of Cosmetics and Toiletries and the Head of Corporate Controlling (Finance) from 2009 to 2012. He also served as the Corporate Vice President of Strategy and Controlling from 2006 to 2008. Mr. Knobel worked as a Director of Business Development Cosmetics and Toiletries from 2004 to 2005, the International Brand Manager of SBU Hair (Taft), Cosmetics and Toiletries from 2002 to 2004.

Ms. Simone Bagel-Trah has been the Chairwoman of the company since 2009. Previously, she served as the Member of the board and Vice Chairwoman of Henkel KGaA. She also served as the Partner and Managing Director of Anti-infectives Intelligence Gesellschaft fur klinisch-mikrobiologische Forschung und Kommunikation mbH since 2000. Earlier, she served in project management roles in Germany’s Association of Applied Microbiology from 1998 to 2000.
