Mr. Kevin Lam Sai Yoke has been the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank since July 2023. Previously he served as the Head of TMRW Group Digital Banking, President Director in Indonesia, Head of Personal Financial Services in Malaysia, and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Wholesale Banking business and Technology and Operations at United Overseas Bank Limited.

Mr. Malkit Singh Maan has been the Chief Financial Officer of the bank since July 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Group Chief Financial Officer at BIMB Holdings Berhad. Mr. Singh Maan had previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Bank Islam Bank Berhad. Earlier he served as Chief Financial Officer at ABN AMRO Bank Berhad and as the Vice President-Finance at RHB Bank Berhad.

Mr. Yow Kuan Tuck has been the Managing Director of Business and Corporate Banking of the bank since 2017. Prior to HLB, he worked as Managing Director, Head of Financial Institutions from 2013 to 2017 at Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia. He also held several senior positions namely Head of Financial Institutions and Public Sector Group in Citibank Malaysia’s Corporate Bank.

Mr. Quek Leng Chan has been the Chairman of the bank since 1994. He also serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hong Leong Company (Malaysia) Berhad; and Chairman of Hong Leong Financial Group Berhad, and Hong Leong Assurance Berhad. Mr. Chan has business experience in diverse business sectors, including manufacturing, financial services, and real estate.
