Mr. Javier Ferran has been the Chairman of the company since 2021. Prior to this, he served as a Director of Coca-Cola European Partners Plc from 2016 to 2020; and Chairman of Picard Surgeles from 2010 to 2020. Mr. Ferran also served as a Member of International Advisory Board ESADE from 2005 to 2019; a Director of SABMiller Plc from 2015 to 2016; and the Vice Chairman of William Grants & Sons Ltd from 2005 to 2014. Earlier, he served as a Director of Louis Dreyfus Holdings BV from 2013 to 2014, Abbott Group from 2005 to 2008, Desigual SA from 2014 to 2017, Chupa Chups SA from 2000 to 2003 and the Partner at Capital LLC from 2005 to 2018. He served as the President of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bacardi Group from 1992 to 2004. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of Diageo Plc.

Mr. Luis Gallego has been the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of the company since 2020. Prior to this, he served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Iberia from 2013 to 2020. Earlier, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Iberia Express from 2012 until 2013. Mr. Gallego also served as the Chief Operating Officer of Vueling from 2009 to 2012, and as the Founder of Clickair from 2006 until 2009. Currently, he serves as a member of the Chair Committee and Board of Governors at IATA.

Mr. Sean Doyle has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of British Airways since 2020. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Aer Lingus. Mr. Doyle also served as the Director of Network and Alliances at British Airways. Earlier, he served as the Chairman of British Airways' London City subsidiary BA CityFlyer. Mr. Doyle served as an Executive Vice President of Americas at British Airways from 2013 to 2015. He joined British Airways in 1998.

Mr. Jose Antonio Barrionuevo has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since June 2026. Previously, he served as Chief Financial and Transformation Officer at British Airways. Prior to this, he served as Director of Strategy and Transformation at Iberia. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Iberia. He also worked at JP Morgan and McKinsey.

Ms. Lynne Embleton has been the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Aer Lingus at the company since 2021. Prior to this, she served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of IAG Cargo. She held senior roles at British Airways including the Managing Director of Gatwick and the Director of Strategy. Earlier, she served as the Chairman of BA CityFlyer. Ms. Embleton also serves as a Director of Ofgem, the UK energy regulator.
