Intuitive Surgical Inc: Executives

Dr. Craig H. Barratt has been the Chairman of the company since 2020. Prior to this, he served as Director of the company since 2011. Previously he worked as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Connectivity Group at Intel Corporation. He also worked with Google, Inc, Qualcomm Atheros and Atheros Communications, Inc.

Dr. Gary S. Guthart has been the Chief Executive Officer, President and a Director of the company since 2010. Prior to this, he served as the Vice President of the Company. He served as a part of core team developing foundation technology of computer enhanced-surgery at SRI International.

Mr. Jamie Samath has been Chief Financial Officer of the company since October 2021. Prior to this, he has held roles like senior vice president of Finance, corporate controller, and principal accounting officer in the company. Prior to joining Intuitive, he was vice president of finance, corporate controller at Atmel Corporation and also served as its principal accounting officer. Prior to that, he served in various finance roles at National Semiconductor.

Ms. Kara Andersen Reiter has been the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and the Chief Compliance Officer of the company since July 2018. Prior to this, she served as Assistant General Counsel of the company. Ms. Andersen Reiter also served as a litigation partner at the law firm of Keker & Van Nest.

Mr. Henry Charlton has been Chief Commercial Officer of the company since October 2021. Earlier, he was the senior vice president and general manager of the US and Europe regions of Intuitive. He has been a part of Intuitive since 2003 and has held various roles including senior vice president of U.S. sales; vice president of sales, marketing and training in Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa (EMEIA) and Latin America, Canada and Australia (LACA). Before joining Intuitive, he was serving as vice president at Tidal Software.
