IPG Photonics Corp: Executives

Mr. Mark M. Gitin has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company since 2024. Prior to this, he served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of photonics solutions division at MKS Instruments, Inc. Previously, Mr. Gitin served as the Vice President of strategic marketing, Vice President of business development, and Vice President and General Manager of the diodes, fibers and systems business unit at Coherent, Inc. from 1995 to 2017.

Mr. Timothy P.V. Mammen has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2000 and Senior Vice President since 2013. Previously, he served as the Vice President of the company from 2000 to 2013. Prior to this, Mr. Mammen served as the Director of Finance and General Manager of the UK operations at IPFD from 1999 to 2000. Earlier, he served as the Director of Finance and General Manager at United Partners Plc from 1995 to 1999.

Mr. Igor Samartsev has been the Chief Scientist and Senior Vice President of the company since 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Technology Officer of the company. Earlier, Mr. Samartsev served as the Director of the company from 2006 to 2021. Previously, he served as the Deputy General Manager at NTO IRE-Polus from 2005 to 2018.

Ms. Jennifer Kartono has been the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of the company since 2025. Previously, she served as the Chief Human Resources Officer of Crane NXT.

Mr. John R. Peeler has been the Chairman of the company since 2021. Prior to this, he served as the Director of the company from 2017 to 2021. Mr. Peeler also serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Jumplights Corp since 2021. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer from 2007 to 2018 and Chairman from 2012 to 2020 at Veeco Instruments Inc. Earlier, Mr. Peeler served as the Executive Vice President at JDS; and President of the communications test and measurement group at JDS.
