Mr. Bruce C. Cozadd has been the Chairman of the company since January 2012. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of the company from January 2012 to August 2025. Prior to this, Mr. Cozadd served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ALZA Corporation from 1991 until 2001. Earlier, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Corporate Planning and Analysis. Mr. Cozadd also serves on the Boards of Cerus Corporation from February 2022 to May 2025. He also served as a Director of Threshold Pharmaceuticals and The Nueva School and Stanford Hospital and Clinics.

Ms. Renee Gala has been the Chief Executive Officer, Director, and President of the company since August 2025. Previously, she was the Chief Operating Officer of the company from October 2023 to August 2025. Earlier, she served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company. Prior to this, Ms. Gala served as the Chief Financial Officer of GRAIL from January 2019 to June 2019. She also served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Theravance Biopharma Inc from December 2014 to January 2019. Prior to that, Ms. Gala served in various roles in global treasury, pharmaceutical sales and corporate strategy/business development at Eli Lilly and Company from 2001 to 2006. Previously, she served on the board of directors of multiple biotech companies, including Gyroscope Therapeutics, Corcept Therapeutics and Gossamer Bio, Inc. Currently, she serves on the board of Dexcom, Inc.

Mr. Philip L. Johnson has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since March 2024. Prior to this, he served as the Vice president and Treasurer at Eli Lilly and Co from January 2018 to February 2024. Previously, he served as the Executive Board Member and Treasurer of the Indianapolis Urban League and as a Board Member of Lynx Capital.

Ms. Neena M. Patil has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of the company since 2022. Prior to this, she served as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Abeona Therapeutics Inc. Previously, she served in various management positions at Novo Nordisk Inc including Vice President for Legal Affairs and Associate General Counsel. Ms. Patil also served in several global biopharmaceutical companies including Pfizer, GPC Biotech and Sanofi.

Ms. Heidi Manna has been the Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer of the company since 2018. Prior to this, she served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Campbell Soup Company from 2010 until 2018. Ms. Manna held various leadership roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb across a wide spectrum of human resource functions.
