Mr. Joaquin Duato has been the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the company since 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company. Previously, he served as the Vice Chairman of the company’s executive committee; and Executive Vice President and worldwide Chairman of Pharmaceuticals since 2016. Mr. Duato also served in various executive positions of increasing responsibility in all business sectors and across multiple geographies and functions at Janssen-Farmaceutica S.A. since 1989.

Mr. Joseph J. Wolk has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2018. Prior to this, he served as the Vice President of Investor Relations. Previously, he served in various roles as Vice President of Finance for the Pharmaceuticals Group, Vice President of Finance for the Medical Devices Global Supply Chain and Chief Financial Officer of the North America Pharmaceuticals Group.

Mr. James Swanson has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the company since 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Information Officer and Head of Digital Transformation, Crop Science at Bayer Crop Science. Previously, he served as the Chief Information Officer at Monsanto. Mr. Swanson also served as Vice President IT - Global Human Health at Merck; and Vice President IT at Merck Research Labs.

Ms. Elizabeth Forminard has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of the company since 2022. Prior to this, she served as the General Counsel across each of the Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Health and MedTech sectors for the company; Vice President of Corporate Governance for the company; and as General Counsel for the Pharmaceuticals Legal Group for the company. Ms. Forminard has also served with Pfizer Inc.

Ms. Kathryn E. Wengel has been the Executive Vice President, and Chief Technical Operations & Risk Officer of the company since 2023. Prior to this, she served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Global Supply Chain Officer of J&J. Previosuly, she served as the Vice President of Quality & Compliance and Chief Quality Officer for Johnson & Johnson. Ms. Kathy serves externally as the Chairman of the Board of GS1 Global and also sits on the board of the National Association of Manufacturers in the US, and on the advisory board of AWESOME. She is the executive sponsor for Johnson & Johnson’s Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Manufacturing and Design (WiSTEM2D) program and Johnson & Johnson’s Women’s Leadership & Inclusion initiative.
