Mr. Matti Kahkonen is the Chairman of the board of directors of the company since 2021. He is also the Chairman of the Finnish Fair Corporation since 2021. In addition to these roles, Mr. Kahkonen serves as the Chairman of the board of Neste Oyj since 2018, Chair of Personnel and Remuneration Committee since 2018 and was a Member of the Board of Neste Oyj from 2017 to 2018. Prior to this, he served as a Member of the Supervisory Board of the Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company, from 2012 to 2017 and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board from 2017 to 2021, Member of the Board of the Research Institute of the Finnish Economy from 2017 to 2019 and the Chairman of the Board of TT Fund of the Confederation of Finnish Industries from 2017 to 2019.

Mr. Antti Salminen has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of the company since 2024.

Mr. Petri Castren has been the Chief Financial Officer of Kemira since 2013. Prior to this, he worked as the Head of Corporate Finance at Nokia Siemens Networks from 2008 to 2013. He also served as Head of Corporate Development for Nokia Siemens Networks from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Castren served in various senior management positions such as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, Head of NSN negotiation and transition program in Nokia Corporation from 1999 to 2007. He held the roles of Finance and business development management for Nokia Telecommunications Inc Nokia Networks (USA) from 1996 to 1999.

Dr. Matthew R. Pixton has been the Chief Technology Officer and member of the Management Board of Kemira since January 2018. Previously, Mr. Pixton served as Head of R&D and Technology, Americas of the company from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Science and Technology for the Hemlock Semiconductor Division at Dow Corning Corporation.
