Mr. Joseph P. Lacher Jr., has been the Chairman of the company since 2021 and is its President and Chief Executive Officer since 2015. Previously, he served as the President of Allstate Protection, a unit of Allstate Corporation, from 2009 to 2011, and Executive Vice President of Personal Insurance at Traveler from 2002 to 2009.

Mr. Bradley T. Camden has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since February 2024. Prior to this, he served a Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Interim Chief Financial Officer of the company. Previously he served in various leadership roles at Northern Trust Asset Management.

Ms. Ismat Duckson Aziz has been the Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Executive Vice President of the company since December 2020. Prior to this, she served as Chief Advocacy Officer from February 2020 to December 2020, and Chief Human Resources Officer from September 2018 to February 2020 at the U.S. Bank. Previously, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Sprint Corporation from May 2016 to September 2018, and Chief Human Resources Officer at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc from April 2012 to April 2016. Earlier, she served in various senior human resources roles at Sears Canada Inc. from June 2009 to April 2012 and MDS Pharmaceuticals from April 2007 to May 2009.

Mr. John M. Boschelli has been a Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Kemper since May 2009. Previously, he served as the Treasurer of the company from 2002 to 2009. Earlier, he worked as an Assistant Treasurer at the company from 1997 to 2002.
