Mr. Stefan Wintels has been the Chief Executive Officer of the group since November 2021. Prior to this, he served as the Co-Chief Executive Officer at the group. Previously, Mr. Wintels worked as Global Head of Financial Institutions Group in the Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory division and Member of the Global Executive Committee in this division, Frankfurt, Germany. He also served as a Member of the Management Board of Citibank North America from 2014 to 2020.

Mr. Stefan PeiB has been a Chief Risk Officer and Member of Executive Board of the group since 2016. Prior to this, he served as a Senior Vice President and Head of Risk Management and Controlling from 2009 to 2015. He also served as the Head of Division of Group Risk Control at Bayerische Landesbank (BL) from 2008 to 2009. Previously, he served as the Head of Division of Risk Controlling Trading Activities at BL from 2003 to 2007. Earlier, he served as the Head of Department of Portfolio Management and Controlling Systematics from 2001 to 2003.

Mr. Bernd Loewen has been a Member of the Executive Board at the group since 2009. Previously, he served as a Member of the Managing Board at BRE Bank SA. Prior to this, he was the Managing Director at Commerz Capital Markets Corporation. He also held the position of Flow Trader in Equity Derivatives Trading at Commerzbank AG. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Director of Global Equities and was involved in Corporate Development/Corporate Controlling at Commerzbank AG. Mr. Loewen began his professional journey as a Trainee at auditing firm Altenburg & Tewes AG.

Ms. Melanie Kehr has been a Member of the Executive Board at the group since March 2019. Previously, she served as the General Manager at the group. She also served as the Group Chief Information Officer at BayernLB from 2014 to 2018. Prior to this, she served as the Program Director for industry Capital Markets in Europe, Africa, Latin America and Managing Director at BayernLB from 2007 to 2009.
