Mr. Richard D. Kinder has been the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company since June 2015. He served as a Director, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of KMI and its predecessors from 1999 to May 2015. He was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of KMR from its formation in February 2001 to November 2014. He also served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kinder Morgan G.P. Inc. from 1997 until June 2015. Prior to this, Mr. Kinder served as the Chief Manager and as a member of the board of Kinder Morgan Holdco LLC till 2011. He also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the general partner of El Paso Pipeline Partners, L.P.

Ms. Kimberly Allen Dang has been the Chief Executive Officer of the company since August 2023 and Director of the company since April 2018. She served as the President of the company. Prior to this role, she served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Kinder Morgan from 2005 to April 2018 and as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of KMR and KMGP from 2005 until 2014. Prior to this, she held various management roles for the Kinder Morgan companies from 2001 to 2005. Before joining Kinder Morgan, she was employed at Goldman Sachs for six years, working in the real estate investment business.

Mr. David P. Michels has been the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company since April 2018. Prior to this, he served as the Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations for the company from March 2013 to April 2018. Mr. Michels also worked as the Vice President of Finance from 2012 to March 2013. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer of the general partner of EPB from March 2013 until November 2014. Prior to joining the company, he worked at Barclays and Lehman Brothers in energy investment banking. Mr. Michels also worked at Lukens Energy Group and Enron Corporation.

Mr. James E. Holland is the Chief Operating Officer of the company. Prior to this, he served as the Vice President and President of Products Pipelines from July 2017 to July 2020. Mr. Holland also served as the Vice President and worked in the Corporate Development group from 2012 to July 2017. He worked as in various business development and corporate development roles at El Paso Corporation and Exterran, Inc.

Mr. Mark Huse has been the Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the company since 2013. He served as the Vice President of Business Systems and was responsible for all business software systems at the company.
