Knorr-Bremse AG: Executives

Mr. Marc Llistosella has been the Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2023. Previously, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer at Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation; Head of Daimler Trucks Asia (DTA), Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Llistosella also serves as Board Member at Vaionic Technologies GmbH and Einride AB.

Mr. Frank Markus Weber has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2020. Previously, he served as the Chief Financial Officer, Head and Manager of various division at Daimler AG from 2020 to 1991.

Mr. Reinhard Ploss has been the Chairman of the company since May 2022. Prior to this, he served as Head of the Power Semiconductor business unit in Munich and Head of the Industrial Power business unit, and as Managing Director of Infineon subsidiary eupec GmbH & Co. KG. From 2000 to 2005.

Mr. Franz Josef Birkeneder has been the Deputy Chairman of the company since 2016. He serves as the Plant Manager at the company's Aldersbach site. Mr. Birkeneder worked as the competence center manager for compressors and air dryers. He also served as Plant Manager of the Group’s site in Aldersbach and, until 2005 and he was also the competence center Manager for air disc brakes.

Mr. Theodor Weimer has been the Deputy Chairman of the company since 2020. Previously, he served as the Managing Director at Sachs & Co. oHG in Frankfurt since 2004. Prior to this, Mr. Weimer also held various positions at UniCredit Group from 2007 to 2017. He served as the Chief Executive Officer at Deutsche Borse AG since 2018.
