Kosmos Energy Ltd (Kosmos) is an oil and gas exploration and production company that focuses on Atlantic Margins. The Senegal Blocks are in the Senegal River Cretaceous petroleum system in water depth ranging from 300 to 3,100 meters. As of December 31, 2022, the company held 917 gross (271 net) acres in Senegal. The company holds interests in three blocks, EG-21, S with the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. As of December 31, 2022, it holds total acreage of 4,509 gross (2,281 net) acres. It also holds one block, Block 5 in offshore Sao Tome and Principe in the Gulf of Guinea with approximately 0.5 million acres (gross) and water depths ranges from 2,150 to 3,000 meters.
