These grafts are designed to replicate the porous, trabecular structure of cancellous bone. MagnetOs is an advanced bone graft technology that promotes bone growth, even in soft tissues. This innovative surface enhances the body’s immune response, particularly the pro-healing M2 macrophages, which are crucial for bone regeneration. As a result, MagnetOs stimulates stem cells and encourages new bone formation throughout the graft, utilizing a principle known as osteoimmunology. MagnetOs is offered in several forms to address perioperative needs in various clinical situations. These include MagnetOs Granules, MagnetOs Putty, MagnetOs Easypack Putty and MagnetOs Flex Matrix. MagnetOs Granules, the foundation of all MagnetOs formulations, is based on NeedleGrip’s submicron, needle-shaped surface. This technology mimics the biologically favorable properties of autograft bone. MagnetOs Granules has been used in over 25,000 patients, supported by extensive preclinical and clinical research through Project Fusion. It has demonstrated superior performance compared to autograft in clinical trials, offering higher fusion rates. MagnetOs Putty combines the benefits of MagnetOs Granules with ease of use in the operating room. It can be molded to fill bony voids, including in spinal and orthopedic procedures, and requires no thawing or special storage. It is free from animal or human tissues, alleviating concerns related to allograft or xenograft products. This versatile graft is suitable for use in the spine, extremities, and pelvis. MagnetOs Easypack Putty and MagnetOs Flex Matrix are designed as bone void fillers specifically for use in the spine.
