Mr. Al Marzouq was a Director of the Kuwait Institute of Banking Studies (KIBS) from 2003 to 2014. He also served as the Chairman of Ahli United Bank – Kuwait (AUBK) from 2002 to 2014, and as the Vice-Chairman of AUBK in the U.K. from 1998 to 2014, in Egypt from 2006 to 2014, in Bahrain from 2000 to 2014, and in Amman from 2007 to 2014. He was also Vice Chairman of Iraqi Commercial Bank from 2006 until 2014. He held the position of Vice Chairman of Middle East Financial Investment Company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 2009 to 2013 and was a Deputy Chairman of Al Ahli Bank in Qatar from 2004 to 2013. He was also a Director of Kuwait and Middle East Company for Finance and Investment based in Kuwait and the bank’s Vice Chairman then Chairman from 2002 to 2010. Mr. Al Marzouq also held positions at the Central Bank of Kuwait as Assistant Director of the Technical Affairs Office in 1990, as the Deputy Manager of Financial Control from 1992 to 1996 and then served as Director of Financial Control Department from 1996 to 1998. He started his career at the Kuwait Investment Company as an Investment Officer in the U.S. investment portfolio and derivatives department from 1987 until 1990.
Fawaz Munawer AL Eneizy
Board Secretary; Group Chief Legal Officer Senior ManagementMr. Fawaz Munawer AL Eneizy has been the Group Chief Legal Officer of the bank since 2023 and is its Board Secretary since 2013. He also serves as the Chairman of Al-Salam International Hospital Company (KSC) and Director of Sidra Real Estate Company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Previously, he served as a Deputy General Manager of the Legal Group at the bank from 2012 to 2023.

Group Chief Data Officer Senior ManagementMs. Lamya Barrak Al-Tabtebai has been the Group Chief Data Officer of the bank since 2024. Previously, she served as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of IT, Digital Transformation and Operations at Ahli United Bank from 2022 to 2024, Group General Manager of IT Planning and Architecture, Deputy General Manager of Corporate Support at Kuwait International Bank from 2003 until 2015, and General Manager of IT and Operations Group in Burgan Bank from 1998 to 2003.
Gehad Mohamed El-Bendary Anany
Group Chief Risk Officer Senior ManagementMr. Gehad Mohamed El-Bendary Anany has been the Group Chief Risk Officer of the bank since 2018. Earlier, he held various roles at the bank including General Manager, Risk Management from 2016 to 2018; Deputy General Manager - Portfolio & Enterprise Risk Management from 2013 to 2016 and Head of Enterprise Risk Management Unit from 2012 to 2013.
