Mr. William Heiden has been the Chairman of the company since May 2022. Prior to this, he served as a President, Chief Executive Officer and board member of AMAG Pharmaceuticals from May 2012 to January 2020. He also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Genzyme Transgenics Company from June 2010 to May 2012. Prior to this, Mr. Heiden was the President, Chief Executive Officer and board member of venture-backed Elixir Pharmaceuticals from 2004 to 2008. He also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Praecis Pharmaceuticals and the board of directors of Atara Biotherapeutic from 2002 to 2004. Currently, he serves as Director of Atara Biotherapeutics. He also serves on the boards of privately held companies Third Pole Therapeutics, CoreA Therapeutics. He also serves on the board of Boston Collegiate Charter School, a non-profit organization.

Mr. Eric Risser has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of the company since August 2025. Previously, he was the Chief Operating Officer of the company from February 2022 to July 2025. Prior to this, he has been the Senior Vice President, Business Development & Portfolio Management, and Chief Business Officer of MacroGenics Inc. since 2016. Earlier, he served as the Senior Director, Business Development in the pharmaceutical group at Johnson & Johnson from 2003 to 2009. He also held venture capital and investment banking positions with BA Venture Partners and Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.

Mr. James Karrels has been the Chief Financial Officer, Secretary, and Vice President of the company since 2008. Prior to this, he served as the Executive Director of Finance at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Karrels served at Merrill Lynch & Co. as an Analyst and as Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group. He also worked in several life science companies and has more than 15 years of experience in finance.

Dr. Ezio Bonvini has been the Senior Vice President of Research and Chief Scientific Officer since 2020. Previously, he served for the US FDA in the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research and was the Acting Deputy Director, Division of Monoclonal Antibodies and as the Chief, Laboratory of Immunobiology.
