Mr. William Heiden has been the Chairman of the company since 2022. Prior to this, he served as a President, Chief Executive Officer and board member of AMAG Pharmaceuticals. He also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Genzyme Transgenics Company. Prior to this, Mr. Heiden was the President, Chief Executive Officer and board member of venture-backed Elixir Pharmaceuticals. He also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Praecis Pharmaceuticals and the board of directors of Atara Biotherapeutic.

Dr. Scott Koenig has been the Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of MacroGenics since September 2001. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President of Research at MedImmune Inc. Mr. Koenig also served at the laboratory of immunoregulation at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and at the National Institutes of Health from 1984 to 1990. Currently, he serves as the Chairman at Applied Genetic Therapy Corporation, Director of BIO and as a board member of its Emerging Companies Section Governing Body. He also serves as the Board member of the Children's Research Institute at the Children's National Medical Center.

Mr. James Karrels has been the Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and the Vice President of MacroGenics, Inc. Prior to this, he served as the Executive Director of Finance at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Karrels served at Merrill Lynch & Co. as an Anaylst and as Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group. He also worked in several life science companies and has more than 15 years of experience in finance.

Mr. Eric Risser has been the Chief Operating Officer of the company since February 2022. Prior to this, he has been the Senior Vice President, Business Development & Portfolio Management and Chief Business Officer of MacroGenics Inc since 2016. Prior to this, he served as Senior Director, Business Development in the pharmaceutical group at Johnson & Johnson.

Dr. Stephen Eck has been the Senior Vice President of Clinical Development and Chief Medical Officer of the company since 2020. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Medical Officer of Immatics US; Vice President and Global Head of Oncology Medical Sciences at Astellas Pharma. Dr. Eck has also held various roles at Eli Lilly including, Vice President of Translational Medicine and Pharmacogenomics, and the Head of Clinical Oncology at Pfizer. He began his professional career at Monsanto. He joined the University of Pennsylvania, as the Anne B. Young Assistant Professor of Cancer Research and the Director of the Cancer Gene Therapy Program. Dr. Eck currently serves as a Director for Luminex Corporation and Circulogene.
