Magellan Financial Group Ltd: Executives

Mr. Andrew Formica has been the Chairman of the company since August 2023. Prior to this, he served as a Director and Chief Executive Officer of Jupiter Asset Management plc between March 2019 and September 2022. Previously, he served as the Co-Chief Executive Offer at Janus Henderson Group plc. Formerly, he worked with Henderson Group plc.

Ms. Kirsten Morton is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of the company. She also served as an Interim Chief Executive Officer of the company from December 2021 to August 2022. Previously, she served as the Head of Finance at Colonial First State Global Asset Management. Prior to this, Ms. Morton was the Group Financial Controller at The GPT Group and Fairfax Media. She also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Audit, Insolvency Management and Accounting Consulting Services in Australia and the US.

Mr. Leo Quintana is the Chief Legal Officer of the company. Previously, he spent seven years as a Corporate Lawyer in private and in-house practice specialising in financial services, mergers and acquisitions and commercial law. He also held the concurrent role of Company Secretary for the ASX-listed Magellan Financial Group Ltd.

Mr. Hamish McLennan has been the Deputy Chairman of the company since August 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Chairman of the company from February 2022 to August 2023. Mr Hamish is currently the Chairman of REA Group Limited, HT&E Limited, and Rugby Australia. He is also a Director of Claim Central Consolidated. Earlier, he served as Executive Vice President of Office of the Chairman, News Corporation, and Global Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Young & Rubicam.
