MRPL's research initiatives focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) for process efficiency and reliability improvement, value addition to refinery streams and molecules, Net-Zero Technologies, and Process Integration. The company has undertaken research projects in collaboration with institutions like NCL-Pune, IICT-Hyderabad, NITK-Surathkal, CSIR-NCL, CIPET, CSIR-IICT, IITG, NITK, NMAMIT. The R&D activities are primarily categorized under technology and catalyst development, value addition to refinery molecules, AI/ML for process optimization & reliability improvement, and niche product development.
