Mr. Stuart Machin has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company since 2022. Previously, he served as the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of Food Divisions of the company. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at Coles supermarkets. Prior to this, he held many senior operational and commercial roles in companies such as Sainsbury’s, British Home Stores, Tesco and ASDA. Earlier, Mr. Machin served as the Chief Executive Officer of Target department stores and Chief Executive Officer of home retailer and manufacturer Steinhoff UK.

Ms. Alison Dolan has been the Chief Financial Officer and Director of the company since 2025. Previously, she served as the Chief Financial Officer at Rightmove plc from 2020 to 2024. Prior to this, she served as the Chief Strategy Officer at News UK from 2016 to 2020. Prior to this, Ms. Dolan held various senior financial positions at Sky plc including Group Treasurer, Managing Director at Sky Business and Director of Finance from 2002 to 2016.

Mr. Darren Gibson has been the Chief Technology Officer of the company since January 2026. Previously, he served as the Fashion, Home, and Beauty Technology Transformation Director of the company.

Ms. Hayley Tatum has been the Chief People Officer of the company since 2025. Previously, she served as the Chief People & Corporate Affairs Officer at Asda. Earlier, Ms. Tatum held several operational, store and Human Resources roles at Tesco.

Mr. Archibald John Norman has been the Chairman of the company since 2017. Previously, he served as the Chairman of Lazard UK, ITV and Hobbycraft. Prior to this, he served as the Director for Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy from 2016 to 2020. Currently, Mr. Norman serves as the Chairman of Signal AI and M Group and Director at Bridgepoint Group plc. He also serves as an Adviser to Coles Group and Chairman of the Global Counsel.
