Dr. Ronnie van der Merwe has been the Chief Executive Officer and the Director of the company since 2018. Dr. Merwe established the Clinical Information, Advanced Analytics, Health Information Management and Clinical Services functions at Mediclinic; and subsequently served as the Mediclinic Group’s Chief Clinical Officer. In 2010, Dr. Merwe was appointed as the Executive Director of Mediclinic International Limited till the combination of the businesses of the company (then Al Noor Hospitals Group plc) and Mediclinic International Limited. He also serves as a non-executive Director of Spire Healthcare Group plc from May 2018.

Mr. Jurgens Myburgh has been the Chief Financial Officer and the Director of the company since 2016. Prior to joining the Mediclinic, he served as the Chief Financial Officer at Datatec Limited. Prior to Datatec, he worked at The Standard Bank of South Africa Limited as the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions.

Mr. Bertrand Levrat has been the Chief Operating Officer and the Director of the company since 2024. Prior to this, he held the position of Director General at the largest university hospital in Switzerland, Geneva University Hospital. Prior to his position at Geneva University Hospital, he held many senior leadership roles in healthcare, welfare and humanitarian aid, both in Switzerland and internationally.

Mr. Patrick Kammerman has been the Chief Information Officer of the company since 2024. Prior to this, he was at EF Education First. Previously, Mr. Kammerman built and led technology organizations of various sizes at elipsLife (a former Swiss Re Group company), AXA Group, Zurich Insurance and Swiss Life.

Ms. Humsha Ramgobin has been the Chief Human Resources Officer of the company since 2023. Previously, she served as the Chief Human Resource Officer of Southern Africa from 2022 to 2023. Prior to this, she served various roles within the consumer goods, retail and financial services sectors.
