Mr. Marcos Galperin has been the Chairman of the company since 1999. Previously, he served as Managing Director and Head of Trading and Risk Management at Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated.

Mr. Ariel Szarfsztejn has been the Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2026. Previously, he served as Commerce President from 2024 to 2025. Prior to this, Mr. Szarfsztejn served as an Executive Vice President of Commerce from 2022 to 2025. He also served as Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development from 2017 to 2022 of the company. Earlier, Mr. Szarfsztejn served as Vice President of Mercado Envios from 2018 to 2020 and Senior Vice President and Head of Mercado Envios 2020 to 2021.

Mr. Martin de los Santos has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since January 2024. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2023. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Strategy in 2013. From 2017 to 2023 he served as the Senior Vice President of Mercado Credito. Earlier he also served as Director of MercadoLibre.

Mr. Daniel Rabinovich has been the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since 2020.Previoulsy, he served as Chief Technology Officer of the company in 2011. Prior to this, Mr. Rabinovich served as the Vice President of Product Development at the company. Earlier, he served as Director of Product Development from 2007 to 2009.

Mr. Marcelo Melamud has been the Chief Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President of the company since 2008. Previously, he served as Vice President of Administration and Control. Prior to this, Mr. Melamud served as the Director of Finance of MDM Hotel Group. Earlier he served for Fidelity Investments. He also served as Director of Finance of the World Trade Center Boston/Seaport Hotel and Director of Finance of MetroRed Telecom Group Ltd.
