Mr. Silviu Itescu has been the Chief Executive Officer since 2004. She also served as Executive Director from 2007. Prior to this, she served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director in 2011.

Mr. Eric Rose has been the Chief Medical Officer of the company since 2022. Previously, he serves as a Director of the company since 2013. Prior to this, he served as Chairman of Columbia University’s Department of Surgery and Surgeon-in-Chief of Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. He also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SIGA Technologies.

Ms. Dagmar Rosa-Bjorkeson has been the Chief Operating Officer of the company since 2021. Prior to this, she served as the Executive Vice President and President of Biosimilars. She also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Development Officer of Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. Ms. Bjorkeson also served as the Vice President and Head of Novartis; and Country Head and President for Novartis Sweden.

Mr. Andrew Chaponnel has been the Interim Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2021. Prior to this, he has held several management roles in chartered accountancy, logistics, and retail.

Mr. Joseph R. Swedish has been the Chairman of the company since 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Executive Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Anthem Inc. Mr. Swedish also served as the Chief Executive Officer for several major integrated healthcare delivery systems, including Trinity Health and Centura Health. He also serves on the boards of IBM Corporation, CDW Corporation, Proteus Digital Health and Centrexion Therapeutics. Mr. Swedish is also Chairman of Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business Board of Visitors and a member of the Duke Margolis External Advisory Board.
