Mr. Doug Jones has been the Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2021. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Vice President of Massmart Wholesale. Mr. Jones has held various senior finance positions in Makro SA, Amalgamated Beverages Industries Limited and The South African Breweries.

Ms. Julie Hutton has been the Director, Company Secretary, and Chief Legal, Risk and Compliance Officer of the company since 2022. Prior to this, she served as a Partner, Mergers & Acquisitions at Baker & McKenzie.

Ms. Deepa Sita has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since July 2023. Prior to this, she served as the Chief Financial Officer of Tiger Consumer Brands Limited. Ms. Deepa also served in various leadership roles at Walmart’s South Africa based subsidiary Massmart, including Chief Executive Officer of Masscash, Finance and Commercial Director of Masswarehouse, Chief Strategy and Integration Officer of Massmart Wholesale and Chief Financial Officer of Makro SA.

Mr. Simon Burton is the Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Transformation Officer of the company. Prior to this, he served as Group Strategy and Corporate Development Director at Lion Nathan. Mr. Simon has also worked for Bupa, as Customer Proposition and Strategy Director.

Ms. Marij Kouwenhoven has been the Chief Technology Officer of the company since 2022. Prior to this, she served as the Senior Vice President and Global Chief Information Officer of The Bountiful Company (now part of Nestle Health Science). Ms. Marij has held various IT leadership roles over the years covering IT strategy, IT business operations improvement, applications modernization, agile transformation, shared service, cloud migration, data management, security/compliance, digital commerce, and analytics.
