Mosenergo, a subsidiary of Gazprom Energoholding, is a power utility. It is the largest regional power generating company in the Russian Federation and a major producer of electricity and heat energy for the Moscow region. It generates electricity and thermal energy using natural gas, coal, fuel oil and diesel sources. The company owns and operates power plants which include TPP-20, SDPP-3, TPP-9, SPP-1, TPP-21, TPP-8, TPP-11, TPP-16, TPP-12, TPP-17, TPP-23, TPP-22, TPP-25, TPP-26 and TPP-27. It sells power to wholesale resellers, industrial enterprises, public sector organizations, general public, housing partnerships and associations and other legal entities in the City of Moscow and Moscow Region. Mosenergo is headquartered in Moscow, Russia.
