MPLX LP (MPLX), a subsidiary of Marathon Petroleum Corp, is a provider of fuel distribution services. The company carries out the gathering, processing and transportation of natural gas, storage and distribution of crude oil and refined petroleum products and other hydrocarbon-based products. It also provides fractionation, storage and marketing of natural gas liquids (NGLs). MPLX owns and operates midstream energy infrastructure and logistics assets. The company supplies NGL products, including isobutane, ethane, propane, normal butane and natural gasoline. It also operates refining logistics and inland marine businesses, refinery tanks, docks, loading racks and associated piping, terminals, rail facilities and storage caverns. MPLX is headquartered in Findlay, Ohio, the US.
