Mr. Ding has been the Chief Executive Officer at NetEase since November 2005. He has been a Director of the company since July 1999. Mr. Ding served as the Chief Architect of the company from 2001 to 2005. In 2001, he was appointed as the Acting Chief Executive Officer and Acting Chief Operating Officer of the company. He worked as the Co-Chief Technology Officer from 1999 to 2001 and as the Interim Chief Executive Officer from 1999 to 2000 of the company. He established Guangzhou NetEase and Shanghai EaseNet in 1997 and 2008 respectively.

Mr. Yang has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since June 2017. Prior to this, he served as an Executive Director of the China technology, media and telecommunications and corporate finance team J.P. Morgan Securities (Asia Pacific) Limited. Mr. Yang currently serves as an Independent Director of So-Young International Inc. and Kanzhun Ltd.

Ms. Alice Yu-Fen Cheng has been the Director of the company since June 2007. She served as the Chief Financial Officer of BBK Electronics Corp Ltd from 2005 to 2021. Ms. Cheng worked as the Supervisor of Wistron Information Technology Corporation from 2010 to 2013; and as the Financial Controller of Wistron Corporation from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, she held Financial Controller position at Acer Inc.
