Mr. Satya Nadella has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since June 2021. Currently, he also serves as a Director of Starbucks Corp. Previously, he served as the Executive Vice President of Cloud and Enterprise at the company from 2013 to 2014. Prior to this, he served as the President of Server and Tools of Microsoft from 2011 to 2013. He also worked as the Senior Vice President of Online Services division of the company from 2009 to 2011 and Senior Vice President of Search, Portal, and Advertising from 2008 to 2009. Earlier, he served as the Vice President of Business division at the company. Before joining Microsoft in 1992, Mr. Nadella was a member of the technology staff at Sun Microsystems.

Mr. Bradford L. Smith has been the Vice Chairman and President of the company since 2021. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Legal Officer of the company from 2015 to 2021. Previously, he served as an Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of the company from 2011 to 2015; and General Counsel, Senior Vice President, and Secretary from 2001 to 2011. Mr. Smith also worked as the Chief Compliance Officer of the company. He joined Microsoft in 1993 and led the Legal and Corporate Affairs team in Europe and later became the Deputy General Counsel for Worldwide Sales. Before Microsoft, Mr. Smith was an associate and then partner at the law firm of Covington and Burling. He has also been a member of the board of directors at Netflix Inc since 2015.

Ms. Amy E. Hood has been an Executive Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer of the company since July 2013. Previously, she served as the Chief Financial Officer of Microsoft Business division from 2010 to 2013; and the General Manager of Microsoft Business Division Strategy from 2006 to 2009. Ms. Hood Joined Microsoft in 20002. Prior to this, she held various finance-related positions in the Server and Tools Business and the corporate finance organization. Currently, she also serves on the board of directors of 3M Corp since 2017.

Mr. Takeshi Numoto has been the Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since October 2023. Prior to this, he served as an Executive Vice President and Commercial Chief Marketing Officer from 2020 to 2023, and Corporate Vice President of Cloud Marketing of the company. Mr. Numoto also served as a Corporate Vice President of Office 365 Marketing from 2004. He joined the company in 1997.

Mr. Judson B. Althoff has been the Chief Commercial Officer and an Executive Vice President of the company since July 2021. Prior to this, he served as the Executive Vice President of Worldwide Commercial Business of the company from 2017 to 2021. Mr. Althoff joined the company in 2013 as the President of Microsoft North America. Before Microsoft, he spent several years in Oracle and EMC and held various senior positions in sales. He also serves as a Director of Ecolab Inc.
