Dr. John F. Milligan has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pacific Biosciences since September 2020. Prior to that, he retired as the President and the Chief Executive Officer of Gilead in December 2018 after serving for 29-years. Mr. Milligan also serves as the the Executive Chair of 4D Molecular Therapeutics and also as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Ohio Wesleyan University.

Mr. Christian O. Henry has been the Chief Executive Officer, the President and a member of the Board of Pacific Biosciences since 2020. Prior to this, he served at Illumina Inc in several roles including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Commercial Officer and General Manager of the Life Sciences division; Tickets.com as its Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Henry also served as Corporate Controller and Vice President of Finance at Affymetrix Inc and Nektar Therapeutics.

Ms. Susan Kim has been the Chief Financial Officer of Pacific Biosciences since 2020. Most recently, she served as the Chief Financial Officer for Katerra and App Annie. Ms. Kim also held several leadership roles at KLA Corp from 2010 to 2016. Previously, she served as an investment banker in Morgan Stanley’s technology practice. She began her career at Advanced Micro Devices as a semiconductor manufacturing engineer.

Mr. Mark Van Oene has been the Chief Operating Officer of the company since January 2021. Prior to this, he has served at Illumina Inc in various leadership positions including Senior Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer, General Manager, Americas Commercial Operations, and Vice President, Global Sales. He also currently serves as a member of the board of directors of Dante Labs Inc

Ms. Michele Farmer has been the Chief Accounting Officer of the company since 2021. Previously she served as Senior Director of Accounting at Illumina. Prior to joining Illumina, Michele served as auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
